On 23 September 2026, Sri Sathya Sai International Organization Nepal announced that it had completed the second phase of its flood relief service for 163 people from Timure, Rasuwa District, who were staying at a holding centre in Swayambhunath, Kathmandu.

Essential supplies distributed

The relief package included bedsheets, large and small towels, slippers, nail cutters, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and other daily essentials. National Council office bearers, the Sathya Sai School Principal, the Centre President, other office bearers, active members, and devotees helped pack, manage, and distribute the supplies.

Further humanitarian work

SSSIO Nepal plans to continue supporting affected communities through educational awareness and assistance, medical and health awareness programs in coordination with local governments, and winter clothing and other essentials for flood-affected families. The team will also continue working with local authorities to identify priority needs.
